Annapurna Base Camp Trek Introduction
One of Nepal’s most famous tours is the trek to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). It is very quick and shorter in Nepal than other treks at high altitudes. Lands, cultures, and animals are included in the trek. Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, and Dhaulagiri, in addition to the most stunning and nearest view of Annapurna. The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is focused on your itinerary and the duration of the walking days.
From Ghorepani, you go east to Chomrong and then again north into the Modi Kola Valley that leads up to the Base Camp. It exhibits many beautiful flowers in Spring, including Nepal’s national flora —- The rhododendron. You are accompanied by orchids, the Machhapuchhre massif, and the deepest gorge Kali Gandaki during the trek.
From Pokhara, the Annapurna trekking area is readily accessible, with numerous trailheads starting just an hour or two away. You should ensure that you have the latest trail conditions information before setting off or hiring a skilled guide before embarking on the trek. But, depending on the route you take, you can pass through Ghandruk. From Chomrung on, the trail is the same, but you can choose to include Ghorepani Poon Hill and Ghandruk, or not.
Poon hill is a point of view to Annapurna plus other peaks, as well as to sunrise and sunset. The Trek Annapurna Base Camp can be done independently, and easily. This trek can be done in all seasons, however, due to the snow level, the Base Camp can sometimes be closed in the winter. The huge rhododendron forests are in full bloom in springtime which gives the trek an extra attraction. Along with the Annapurna Road, about 70 % of the total trekkers visiting Nepal are welcome upon these trails.
More than 1 percent of the route and 3 percent of guesthouses collapsed after an earthquake, according to Miyamoto International’s damage assessment survey. The majority of the damage occurred on the Annapurna Circuit trail instead of on the ABC trail. So, during the peak autumn season (September-November) the region welcomed trekkers.
